Objective:
Perform dielectric rigidity tests applying voltages of up to 5000 Vca and measuring current flow as regards ground thus detecting the arch if it is produced.
Reference Norm:
- Dielectric Rigidity Test according to IEC 60335-1 Norm for tests described in items 13 and 16.
Item 13: After warming test- Test on working appliances.
Item 16: Alter Humidity Chamber test- - Test on appliances which are NOT WORKING.
Norms such as IEC 60950/60065 /60745/ 60598/ 60601 and others are applicable.
Specifications:
- Voltages up to 5000 Vca are applied.
- Generated by a 200 mA max. transformer.
- Provided with 0.1 A fuse protection.
- Provided with a cut off relay that can be configurated
- Digital Voltmeter
- 0/5000 Voltage variator
Technical Specifications:
- Transformer: 220 Vca / 5000 Vca - 200mA máx.
- Cut offs:100 mA Fuse -2 A Fuse - Cut off relay that can be configurated
- Voltage Variador: 1.5 A
- Digital Voltmeter: 0 750 Vca – With an X 10 Voltage Divider
- 0 7500 Vca range
- Interchangeable voltage point with Grilon handle.
- Luminous indicators.
- Feeding sensor for the transformer’s primary
- High voltage outlet sensor.
- Sound Indicators
- Audible alarm with selected protections by software of up to 100mA. When the software detects a current flow which is higher than the selected one, it interrupts the test an considers it has failed and prints a result label.
Test times can be selected. Once half of the time test has passed it makes a sound signal so that the person runnig the test can increase voltage according to norm (1000V per second) until the required voltage has been reached (see dielectric rigidity test procedures in any electric safety norm).
It also has a voltage variator with indicator display and partial limits (flexible mechanical device) in 1500 Vca and 3000 Vca (standard values in some electronic product norms. This limits can be adjusted according to requirements).
