Laboratorio CONSULTAR

Laboratorio CONSULTAR is a company which social objective is to perform safety tests on electrical products in order for them to fulfill every requirement indicated in Resolution 92/98 issued by Board of Domestic Trade of the Nacional Ministry of Economy, Public Works and Servicies(Dirección de Comercio Interior del Ministerio de Economía, Obras y Servicios Públicos de la Nación ).

Laboratorio CONSULTAR opened its doors in October 1998 and it is part of a larger company that has been dealing with with Electric Safety since 1989 and manufacturing Systems and Equipment for Electric Safety Data Acquisition.

From the beginning Laboratorio CONSULTAR has been committed to informing companies from provincies within Argentina’s territory of all new regulations and Resolutions since "92/98".

The Laboratory today

Nowadays it is performing type tests to certify areas such as ELECTRONICS, DOMESTIC APPLIANCES, LUMINAIRES, TOOLS AND ELECTROMEDIC MACHINES; and it also performs energetic measurements and studies of Fridges and Domestic Coolers, Washingmachines. Etc.

Main activities

• Test on Safety according to IEC / IRAM Norms.
• Analysis of especific technical norms in those fields competent to the company performance.
• Reduced and type test are performed in those fields competent to the company performance.
• Technical Reports Presentation.
• Cooperation with Board of Commertial Royalty (Dirección de Lealtad Comercial) de of the Board of Domestic Trade of the National Ministry of Economy, Public Works and Servicies (Secretaría de Comercio Interior del Ministerio de Economía, Obras y Servicios Públicos de la Nación) through the organization, participation and sponsoring of activities realated to spreading the contents of Resolution 92/98.
